Experienced Solution Designer

Do you want to take on the role of solution lead for innovative digitalization projects where we deliver award-winning software? With your expertise, you’ll contribute to an already highly skilled team, and your efforts will drive digital transformation worldwide. Could you be our new Solution Designer?

Your Role as a Solution Designer

As a Solution Designer, you’ll collaborate with project managers, developers, and consultants to deliver digitalization projects that fully support our clients’ knowledge and business processes. You’ll be responsible for designing solutions that address the client’s challenges. This includes overseeing the design process with the client and participating in the entire journey through to the delivery of production software.

Solution Design and F2

Our product, F2, is a digital platform leveraging groundbreaking technology.

With F2, we’ve achieved what many believed was impossible. In close collaboration with Danish authorities, we’ve designed and developed a fully integrated standard platform that includes all the functionalities a public administration needs. Ready for operation without requiring custom programming or extensive consultancy hours.

F2 also features an embedded process engine that can be configured without limitations to support and automate any business process, from small to large and complex case areas. End-to-end and automated, covering every step of the process—from self-service to case handling, documentation, and management reporting.

As a designer, you’ll work on the F2 standard platform as a foundation, designing business processes and specific solutions configured on cBrain’s process platform.

It’s essential that you are experienced and eager to develop a deep understanding of our software solutions. While we don’t expect you to be an expert in F2 initially, you should have experience designing, configuring, and deploying solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Success in this role requires the ability to facilitate collaboration with clients, understand their needs and workflows, and translate these into effective software solutions during intensive implementation phases.

Working in project teams of varying sizes, we take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes while adhering to budgets and deadlines. As a Solution Designer, you’ll often work with multiple clients simultaneously, focusing on designing tailored solutions.

Your tasks will include:

  • Creating solution visions (mock-ups) and engaging your project team, clients, and stakeholders as you continuously refine designs.

  • Developing solution designs and specifications in collaboration with clients, based on their needs and organization.

  • Guiding clients in their decision-making processes using cBrain best practices.

  • Understanding the technical implications of your solution designs and how they can be implemented in F2 with your project team.

  • Making well-considered decisions and knowing when to seek assistance.

  • This position demands both strong business acumen and solid technical competency.

Your Profile

We’re looking for experienced consultants with a business/IT foundation.

Your background includes participation in IT implementation projects and solution delivery, ideally in a similar role. We value experience in IT-driven business development and a solid understanding of the technical aspects of IT solutions. A master’s degree in IT and business, focusing on process understanding and IT support, is preferred.

If you’re also skilled at building trusted relationships, this role is for you.

We expect you to:

  • Identify and understand user needs to clarify the appropriate solution.

  • Facilitate and engage in dialogue with clients.

  • Learn methods and principles of solution design.

  • Collaborate with specialists across various technical domains.

  • Recognize constraints on solutions and challenge how we can redefine those constraints.

  • Immerse yourself in new business domains, model processes, and design solutions based on your knowledge.

  • Identify and prioritize design-related problems and document their causes.

  • Communicate effectively in both technical and political contexts across organizations, as we work with public sector IT.

  • Take ownership and manage your tasks and projects independently.

  • Balance prioritizing multiple tasks.

  • Collaboration is key, so we’re seeking individuals who constructively embrace feedback and foster growth and learning.
