cBrain is a software scale-up and leading provider of configurable commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software tailored for government and public sector. Our dedicated bid management team plays a critical role in securing key contracts from governments. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Bid Writer to join our team and help us craft winning proposals.
The Technical Bid Writer will work with bid management consultants, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop clear, persuasive, and comprehensive responses to government tenders. You will be responsible for writing both the functional and non-functional aspects of bids, ensuring technical accuracy while highlighting the value and benefits of our software platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for government tenders, including request for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), covering functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams, product management, client engagement teams, and subject matter experts to gather accurate and detailed information for bids.
Develop a deep understanding of our software platform, including its features, capabilities, and configurability options for government organizations.
Ensure that your bid responses align with the customer’s requirements and evaluation criteria.
Present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, suitable for a non-technical audience.
Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content.
Contribute to the development of templates and standardized content to improve bid efficiency and quality.
The ideal candidate must have:
Fluency in both Danish and English - more languages are a plus.
Proven experience in technical writing - preferably in a bid or proposal writing capacity.
5+ years relevant experience - relevant experience includes:
Experience in documenting solution architectures with exposure to .Net and MS SQL an advantage
Experience in designing integration approaches to 3rd party systems using REST APIs and SOAP.
Experience in documenting operational architectures focusing on security, performance, and availability.
Exposure to tender processes – preferably in public sector
The ideal candidate will also have:
Strong understanding of government tender processes and requirements.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with software platforms and technology, particularly in government or enterprise contexts e.g. understanding of government reference architectures, base data registers, cloud solution architectures (AWS and Azure), Agile development processes.
Ability to translate technical information into user-friendly, persuasive content.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
